Nadine and Mercury
Venus here -
As promised, here are some pictures of Nadine and Mercury, since it seems this blog has opened up its membership to include the dogs. But only occasionally, understand? Don't think this is going to turn into "The Pluto and Nadine Dog Blog (featuring us cats every once in a while)". Let them get their own damn blog, that's what I say.

It's nice dat you include us dogs sometimes. I blog because I am outnumbered and outsized by all da cats in da house. Not ez being a vittle dog. Nice pics!

My dear Heidi -
If all dogs were your size, they would be much more welcome, I can assure you.
Yours in parity,
Mercury

Hello Heidi -
Our boy Sam is especially partial to your kind of dog, and lobbied hard for one at the pound. No such luck, though - we get the Jolly Spotted Giant instead...

Nadine is a pretty dog... not as pretty as you cats are, but a pretty dog, nonetheless. She has nice curly hair. Did she get a perm?

She is very fluffy and curly. We think it came from her mom the Springer spaniel. Nadine is not the type to sit still for a perm.

Dear Lyn,
Thank you, and the same to you! We had an excellent Thanksgiving - mostly thankful that our Dad took Pluto to his sister's house where the rest of the family had Thanksgiving dinner. We had the house to ourselves, along with Nadine. Since she can't see any more, she is much better behaved and we have taken over responsibility for her. So the three of us had a lovely quiet Thankisgiving at home, free from annoying spotted whirlwinds, and some excellent turkey treats when the rest of the family came home.
Regards,
Venus

You have some great pictures here! Most of them capture cats doing things that remind me quite a lot of our three.
Our cats are like dogs in that we have spoiled them to the point where they demand attention constantly. Our little shorthaired tabby Abby, age 13, sits next to me on the couch and lays her tail across my thigh until I pull on it for her. She also likes rapid spanking at the base of the tail, and to have me grab her tail and lightly lift her hindquarters a couple of inches off the floor. Mac, our overweight 18-pound mostly-white-but-with-some-tabby-markings short-hair, likes me to wrestle with him, and he actually seems to enjoy hissing. He'll freak out and hiss several times, then rather than running away, he'll sit there looking at me as if to say "Why did you stop?" Our third is Bonnie, age 14, a medium-long-haired tabby and white sweetie. She is a lovey drooler. It's amazing to me how they all have such differing personalities and different needs.
Your kitties' last post was in October! Surely they have been busy lately... ?
My cats' pictures are in my archives at this address:

Finally, I found your cats' blog via kvatch via Brother Kenya's Paradigm, and got here via your profile. I have copies of all the movies you mention with the exception of maybe one. My cats seem to like Coen Brothers pictures too.

I love being able to give my children a lifelike pet when we can’t have one in our apartment. They love to take care of them like they would a real cat or dog. They also make perfect gifts. My sister loves her Perfect Petzzz’ cat and so do her two other real cats! My mother has a “breathing” Perfect Petzzz cat that I gave her to help soothe her blood pressure, and my Dad has the dog he always wanted without the mess!
http://www.PerfectPetzzz.com has the best realistic dogs and cats for people who can’t have pets, or don’t want a real one.
They look so real, and even “breathe”. Great for gifts. You can even get some celebrity pet replicas!
