As usual, I'm doing all the investigation, while lazy old Beefers watches from the sidelines. I think I'm on to something here, though. You never know what you can find with a little bit of detective work!
Yeah, my brother Rhett (Adopted) likes to find the Nyssa's sock drawer open a crack. He can get the thing open and then carries pairs of socks around making this weird noise. He thinks he is a great hunter...that's a laugh. Anyway, mom would come home and there would be a pile of 5-6 pairs of socks at the bottom of the stairs. Boy was she mad.
Dat picture should be entered in da friday night place for vlogging cats, dogs and spiders.
Dey say........... We'll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals as I see them (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles).
Thanks you for that excellent suggestion. We are now on both the Friday Ark and The Sunday Carvival of the Cats! We imagine a nice and friendly little dog like yourself must be featured on many a Carnival.
We all know about socks. Our people, bless them, really have no idea how malevolent socks can be. And we don't want to burden them with the fearsome knowledge of the wickedness of socks. They even put them on their feet, if you can believe it! So we take it upon ourselves, with the selflessness that informs our every action, to protect our people from socks without unduly alarming them. If we pick them off slowly, one by one, eventually the house will be sock-free and our people none the wiser.

Socks are evil, as any cat knows. So are pipe cleaners, tissues, pencils and pens, drinking straws and God knows what else!
Alicia is lucky to have such an enterprising and vigilant cat team to protect her...
With sincere regards, Agnes

Venus looks like a ferret in this picture! They both look cute. We like to investigate, too!
